Every day around the globe, thousands of NTT’s analysts are working hard to protect organizations from data breaches and cybersecurity attacks.
When the pandemic hit in 2020, technology services company NTT could suddenly no longer invite its key customers and potential clients to its Security Operations Centers to show them the important cybersecurity work being done up-close. So the idea was born to take them inside anyway – with the help of a VR tour.
This 360-tour is of the SOC in Gothenburg, Sweden – one of six centers around the world. Once inside, visitors get insights about the work being done to protect customers directly from threat detection analysts and other key team members.
Rather than using still images shot with a 360 camera, we chose film to make it feel more like the visitor is in the room. Combine that technology with interviews and short informational videos and the customers get an experience as close to the real thing as possible.
